The Honda Insight Hybrid was released in December of 1999 as a year 2000 model. It was the first commercially available gas-electric Hybrid automobile and can achieve 700miles on one tank of gasoline. I just recently (Feb 2003) came across this rarely seen premiere video of the amazing Insight.
