Go Green Expo (Los Angeles Convention Center) held a "Charging into the Future with Electric Cars & Mass Transportation" discussion panel at 4:30PM. Panel members included:

• Linda Nicholes - President of Plug In America
• Paul Scott - President of the Electric Vehicle Association of Southern California
• Ashley Van Dyke - Eco Advocate and Green Racing Driver - Emerald Sports and Events (home of the Emerald Rally)
• Alexandra Paul - Electric Vehicle Advocate, Activist, and Actress
• Mike Kane - Cofounder of Plug in America
• John Drayton - Manager for Vehicle Acquisition & New Technology for Los Angeles Metro System
• Tom Skancke - Commissioner, National Surface Transportation Policy and Revenue Study Commission
• Mike D'Ascanio - Founder and CEO of earth-list.com

I arrived a few hours prior to the panel discussion and roamed the Go Green Expo taking in the various booths promoting green products. My eye was drawn towards the several Photovoltaic Solar System vendors and an all electric Vectrix Maxi-Scooter. President of Plug In America Linda Nicholes had her beautiful Radiant Red Tesla Roadster on display at a packed PIA booth, also supported by friendly EV volunteers Alexandra Paul and Marvin Campbell.

While navigating the Go Green Expo floor I encountered the very beautiful and talented Ashley Van Dyke who is organzing the world's first green car rally she has named "Emerald Rally". A link to her green rally and more can be found at her website dedicated to Emerald Sports and Events.

Ashley is also a sales representative for Cruise Car Solar Electric Hybrid Cars whose vehicles she is marketing to race crews to help lower their carbon footprint for around racetrack mobility. She gave me a tour of a Cruise Car Inc. photovoltaic solar electric hybrid neighborhood electric vehicle she had brought to Go Green Expo.
