2008.03.29 eBox at Harvey Mudd WKtEC Screening

Chelsea Sexton (Executive Director of Plug In America) has been touring high schools and colleges across the USA to show the movie Who Killed the Electric Car, promote plug-in and EV awareness, and answer questions. On Saturday, March 29, 2008 Chelsea held a screening at Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, CA courtesy of Physics Professor Richard Haskell. The screenings are more meaningful when students can witness and experience in person a real electric vehicle. Josh Allan of AC Propulsion and I brought an eBox (a plug-in battery electric vehicle) to the Harvey Mudd WKtEC screening at 11:30am. The students had so much interest after viewing the movie we stayed until about 5pm discussing plug-ins, electric vehicles, photovoltaic solar electricity generation, and answering all their questions.
