Ever since I can remember I've had a passion for motorcycles. In 1977 my mother won a red Piaggio Ciao moped from Burger King. I was only 7 at the time but I remember learning everything I could about this motorized bicycle. In later years I used it to deliver newspapers and upgraded to a 1985 Honda Aero50 when they were released. Besides my red Aero50 I picked up one with a blown motor for $50 in 1986. I rebuilt the motor and repaired the damaged body panels painting the scooter blue. In all I probably spent $100 in parts and had fun restoring it. A couple of years later I traded in my Aero50 for a Ninja.
