BelikBicycle™ Carbon Fiber Tandem Recumbent 2000
Paul Belik is a coworker of mine who has been designing/building a fabulous tandem recumbent with a molded carbon fiber frame. We rode the bike to dinner tonight (04/03/2000) and it is an excellent ride. Below are a few pictures of Paul's Excellent Bike taken before we left. The bike is 95% done with some minor adjustments and painting to be done soon. What is really impressive is the torsional rigidity of the carbon frame. I couldn't perceive any noticeable twisting even under heavy pedaling which inspires confidence in the bike from the riders.

The bike is finished. Paul painted it a flashy orange color soon after the April 3rd pictures were taken. Just recently he made some stickers and named the bike the "Anaconda" as the frame resembles a snake. The below pictures were taken before we departed on a 25mile evening ride.
