2003.07.30 Hang Gliding Lesson #3
Wednesday, July 30th, 2003 I had my third hang gliding lesson day at Windsports Hang Glider Training Park located on Dockweiler Beach with my friend Wyatt. Our instructor was the very talented and longtime hang glider pilot Paul Thornbury. He brought a brand new beautiful blue & white Wills Wing Falcon2 195 for us to assemble and fly! We each were able to make 26 flights during this excellent training day. By the end of the day we had demonstrated various beginner skills, completed the work book section of our student training manual, and completed the USHGA Pilot Proficiency Program Beginner Test earning us a Hang 1 License.
