Glendale Galleria Apple Store - Shop Different!
Apple opened one of their first Apple retail stores at the Glendale Galleria in Southern California on Saturday, May 19th, 2001.  The first 1000 attendees received free Apple t-shirts!  I was unable to attend their opening ceremonies but on Tuesday, May 29th, 2001, I got my chance to visit the store with my father.  We met up with my good friend Marshall in order to oogle the newly redesigned iBooks.  The store is beautifully designed inviting anyone to stop and try out any of the latest Apple computers.  There is even a Genius Bar where you can get your technical Apple questions adeptly answered by Apple Pros.  The new Apple stores are a marvelous idea and hopefully they introduce the rest of the populace to the simplicity, elegance, and power that is Apple.
